 Theatre Rentals
The Manship Theatre, located within the Shaw Center for the Arts in the heart of downtown Baton Rouge, is a spectacular multi-use facility. The main 325 seat theatre, and its full size, 2177 square foot state of the art stage, can be used not only for theatre, but also speaking engagements, conferences, dance performances, and movie premieres and screenings. Also located within the Manship Theatre's facilities are two exceptional multi-use spaces. The larger of these two spaces, The Studio, at 2428 square feet, can hold a reception for up to 350 people. This wide open theatrical space is a multi-functional room that can host a number of programs, from performances to high end social gatherings and receptions. The smaller, but equally functional Black Box rehearsal space, the Workshop, at 1840 square feet, can accommodate up to 250 people.
