The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge and Forum 35 announced that ART FLOW 2020 is in the works.
This marks the second anniversary of ART FLOW, an art competition that showcases Louisiana professional artists’ work, which can be viewed by the public.
Last year, the competition gave $7,000 in awards to winners, and this year, the Arts Council will give out $10,000 in awards, according to the Council’s director of visual arts, Brian Morfitt.
This year’s exhibition will include a public participation component, and the public is invited to view the works and vote for their favorite, Morfitt wrote.
ART FLOW 2020 will be on display at The Gallery of Manship Theatre at the Shaw Center for the Arts from March 16 through April 5.
Applications for the competition will be open for Louisiana artists until Feb. 21. Click here to apply.
