Evangeline the Musical in Concert is a true testament to how book and score, interwoven together, can transport the audience to another place and time, emotionally binding us with the Acadians of the past.  Told through moving ballads, heart-wrenching duets, comical patter songs, and rich ensemble numbers, this story has touched audiences of all ages in sold-out venues. 

This timeless story, based on Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s epic poem Evangeline, gives witness to the saga of Evangeline and Gabriel, two young Acadians who become separated shortly after their betrothal.  It is highlighted by beautiful melodies and brilliant orchestrations, transforming the historical facts into a stirring witness to the strength and courage of the Acadians, who were torn from their homeland by the British expulsion.
