Texas supergroup THE BAND OF HEATHENS came together in 2005. From the very start, The Heathens were a songwriting collective with multiple talented composers in the group. The band gained a massive audience in the burgeoning Americana music scene with their stellar live show. Their initial CD releases were live albums which played on that reputation. Studio recordings followed as the Heathens topped the Americana charts. Their hit single "Hurricane" even crossed over to the country music charts. The Band of Heathens has released two CDs since they visited us last. "Simple Things" came out in 2023, and "Hayes and Heathens" appeared in 2024.
