About Ziggy's Arts Adventure

Ziggy’s Arts Adventure is a live-action educational series for children ages 7 to 12 from Louisiana Public Broadcasting. The series teaches young learners core arts concepts through the magic of storytelling and puppets.

Ziggy's Story

Ziggy is a 9-year-old alien from a planet where everyone has an emoticle – an antenna that lights up on top of their head. It’s how those on his planet understand and feel each other’s emotions. But Ziggy’s emoticle doesn’t work the same way, making him different from the others and lonely. When a spacecraft carrying recordings from Earth crashes on his planet, Ziggy gets to hear music for the first time which makes his emoticle light up! Finally, Ziggy is able to share feelings with others, even humans millions of miles away.

Ziggy’s Arts Adventure is a Louisiana-based production, shot and produced in Baton Rouge at the LPB studios and remote locations.
