ABOUT THE EVENT

Join us for a live, televised debate among the leading candidates for Louisiana's 6th Congressional District seat ahead of the November 3 primary. Hosted by WBRZ and supported by the Greater Baton Rouge Economic Foundation, the debate gives voters a chance to hear directly from the candidates on the issues shaping the Capital Region and the district.

Five candidates qualified for the debate, including Chauna Banks, Rick Edmonds, Patrick "Pat" Forbes, Lindsay "Rubia" Garcia, and Blake Miguez. Candidates qualified under criteria WBRZ set before polling was conducted: certification on the November 3 ballot, active candidacy, and a top-five finish in an independent poll of likely district voters.

As this is a televised event, all attendees must be seated by 7 p.m.
