A Films at Manship Movie Party is a great, affordable option for kids and/or adults to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or just because. Enjoy a private party space before the movie, then settle in for a movie in our theatre with reserved seating for up to 60 guests - all for $350!

Films at Manship Movie Parties coincide with movies that are already on our schedule, and tickets to the movie will still be available to the public. If you are interested in a private movie event, please contact events@manshiptheatre.org.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A flat fee of $350.

    Add-ons are available to elevate your party.

    • A private event space with tables and chairs

    • Up to 60 movie tickets and a reserved section of seating

    • Special silver screen shout out before the movie

    • Custom digital invitation design

    • Cash bar available to the party attendees

    • Popcorn, snack, candy, and drink packages

    • Craft/activity package, themed with the movie

    • 15-minute dance party in the theatre with balloon drop (immediately after the movie)

    • Alcoholic beverage packages (cash bar will be open)

    • Extra tickets at a discounted rate (parties include 60 tickets)

  • These parties are designed to coincide with movies that are already scheduled in our theatre. Please check our film showings calendar for upcoming events.

    However, if you do not see a movie or a date that interests you, please reach out! We are always working to add more movies to the silver screen when possible.

  • You may choose from a private space outside of the theatre, the Hartley/Vey Workshop, or the Gallery at Manship, depending on availability.

    We suggest children’s parties in the lobby or workshop to avoid your own liability with art displayed in the gallery.

  • Street parking downtown is free on weekends, and after 6:00 on weekdays. We suggest mentioning this when you invite your guests.

    The Third Street Garage is also a short walk away.

  • Yes, these movies are still available for the public to purchase tickets, though they are not allowed in your private party space nor your reserved theatre seating.
